String Quartet members boast a combined experience of many years performing at weddings and events at many venues around Edinburgh and Scotland. These include The Edinburgh Playhouse, Scottish Parliament, The Queens Hall, Assembly Hall, Murrayfield and many more. We are regular performers with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra, English Symphony Orchestra and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
In addition to being classically trained musicians, we perform many kinds of music through our quartet. This includes jazz, tango, popular and folk. A String Quartet consists of two violins, a viola, and a cello. A first violinist, second violinist, violist, and cellist. The String Quartet is a group four instruments with strings that play together to perform a musical composition, usually in three or four movements, for four stringed instruments.
